Add Kellan Lutz’s Twilight costar Nikki Reed to the list of fans impressed with his new nearly naked Calvin Klein underwear ads.

“I think he looks fantastic,” Reed told us at last night’s Hollywood 3-D screening of the Burberry Prorsum show from London Fashion Week. “I’m actually really proud of him.”

She continued to gush…

“It takes a lot of balls, no pun intended, to stand and pose like that,” Reed said. “I wouldn’t have the guts to stand there naked like that.”

Unless, she added with a laugh, “I looked like Eva Mendes.”

Reed, however, wasn’t as chatty about Breaking Dawn. “We’re making it, I do know that,” she said. “It is happening. As for an exact date, I don’t know.”

Asked if it’s going to be made into two flicks, she teased, “I do know the answer to that.”

Kellan is slated to do a Christmas Movie with Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow.

So Taylor Lautner has Valentine’s Day, now Kellan Lutz has his own holiday. He is slated to star in A Misfits Christmas with Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow rounding out the headliners.

According to Moviehole (Ashley Hillard on their staff is a producer and they got the scoop):

“[Misfits] an escalating drama about eight friends who spend consecutive Christmas Eve’s together during their four years of college”, explains writer/director Tabb. ”As we drop in on them annually, we watch the characters lose their innocence and form a dysfunctional family with interwoven relationships.

”Though their majors vary, what they have in common is a sense of humor, charisma, attractiveness, and nothing else better to do than spend Christmas with one another”, Tabb says of his characters. ”These character arcs take place over four years, highlighted at their annual Christmas soirees at [Lutz's character] Scott’s epic, rockin’ pad – his parents’ property investment that they are letting him live in while at college.”

PeoplePets.com posted a first look at Kellan’s & Kola’s Pet Adoption Ad.

Twilight star Kellan Lutz has always been very vocal about his love for rescue pups Kola and Kevin. But now, the actor is taking the cause of animal adoption to a national platform, serving as PETA’s latest spokesperson in their “Adopt, Don’t Buy” campaign.

Shot by celebrity photographer Collin Stark, the advertisement features Lutz posed with his first dog, Kola. “She’s my best friend,” he tells PETA in an exclusive interview. “There are countless numbers of animals out there. It’s our job to take them under our wing.”

Lutz explains that he found Kola in a shelter, curled up and frightened in the back of a cage. “I touched her toe and said, ‘Hey, what’s your name?’ ” he recalls. “She spoke to me.” Warned that she was a puller, Lutz decided to walk her anyway, and knew then that he’d found the one. “From that day on, I loved her,” he says.

Taylor Blue here for here another installment of the ‘K’ Factor.  Last week I wrote a post about Kellan talking to me on his cell phone waiting at the airport. Now I know that I would really love it if Kellan would actually call me and we could have a talk. I mean, who wouldn’t want to talk to Taylor? I know I make a lot of people laugh with my commentary. So let’s try this here. Kellan and Taylor on the phone.

Taylor picks up the phone seeing an unknown number on her cell phone. ‘Hello?’

Kellan: Hey there, Taylor Blue? I mean the Taylor? Blue? I heard lots of great things about you?
Taylor: I am..wait…who is this anyways?
Kellan: It’s me. You know who me is right?
Taylor searching through names: No, I have no clue.
Kellan: It’s Kellan, you know that one that you write about? That one you want under your Christmas tree?
Taylor: Ohhh you. Hey, you are a big underwear model now.
Kellan: I know. It’s a hard job. But someone has to run around in their underwear.
Taylor: Don’t forget shirtless. Very very shirtless.
Kellan: No, we can’t forget that.
Taylor: Never. You know I have to get one of the pictures blown up for my bed..living room.
Kellan: I’ll uh..help you with that.
Taylor: You are so generous. Come by later.
Kellan: You know I will.

Doesn’t everyone wish that they could have that same conversation with him? I know I do. I’ll be holding out until then.

How did Kellan Lutz prep for his sexy Calvin Klein underwear ads?

“I had to stop eating so….” he joked to UsMagazine.com at the Calvin Klein collection fall 2010 party in NYC Friday. “I love candy, and I think that’s where I could be super ripped if I didn’t eat so many gummy bears. So, I cut back on those, and I just swam and boxed as much as I could.”

Lutz, 24, continued, “And I started training parts of my legs that I hardly ever trained really. I tried to bulk up to make the underwear look good.”

“I have my mom’s best friends proposing. Some are actually quite attractive, so I might hold on to those numbers and emails that are quite flattering,” joked Lutz. (What does on-again fling AnnaLynne McCord think of the ads? “[They’re] pretty sexy,” she told Us.)

Lutz says he “can’t wait” for the billboards — which also feature True Blood star Mehcad Brooks, Spanish tennis star Fernando Verdasco and Japanese athlete Hidetoshi Nakata — to hit streets March 1.

“It was always a dream of mine to have my mug, whatever it was… I didn’t think it’d be for underwear, but I’m quite happy for it. I’m just very thankful,” Lutz says. “I know it really helped Mark Wahlberg’s career, and I can only hope that I get half as much of a chance.

The tween heartthrob had just entered Calvin Klein’s after-party the other night on Little West 12th Street when a swarm of young girls suddenly appeared on the red carpet, demanding he return. “He actually went back outside to pose for photographs. He was very nice,” says a spy. Hanging out inside with Lutz, who has a Klein underwear modeling deal, were Kate Bosworth, Kerry Washington, Naomi Watts and Ryan Phillippe.
