Biography

Kellan Christopher Lutz was born on March 15, 1985 in Dickinson, North Dakota. Kellan is the middle child of 7 brothers and 1 sister.

After moving to the state of Arizona when he was just 14, he discovered that he had a wild curiosity about life. This has led him on a search for knowledge in everything he puts his hands and mind to. In high school, Kellan had the unique opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic for a semester, to study its culture and the Spanish language. This gave him a grounded outlook on life and the struggles that face many cultures outside America.

He speaks fluent Spanish and plays several sports, including skateboarding, track, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, tennis, racquetball, badminton, snow skiing, and snowboarding.

He started modeling when he was 13 or 14.

After graduating from High School he moved in 2003 to Los Angeles to go to college and to be closer to his father and the Acting Industry. But later he decided that he wanted to do something different in life.

He landed his first TV in the long running soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Since then Kellan has acted on a number of television shows. He had recurring roles on Model Citizens and The Comeback, and smaller roles in episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, CSI: NY, Summerland, Six Feet Under, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Heroes. He was also in the films Stick It, Accepted, Prom Night and Twilight. Additionally, Kellan has performed on the California stage and was the host of Bravo’s Blow Out. He appeared in the 2006 commercial for Hilary Duff’s fragrance With Love… Hilary Duff, and in the 2007 music video for her single, “With Love”. He also appeared in Hinder’s Music Video – ‘Without You’. Kellan also appears in the miniseries Generation Kill, based on the book by Evan Wright.

Had he not chosen this path, however, he had considered a career in Chemical engineering or becoming a Navy SEAL.
