“Her creativeness,” Lutz told MTV News. “I love to invent stuff and she’s so inventive. She’s so creative and I love people who think that way and are very just out-there and don’t care and do whatever.”
He added that he admires Gaga’s ability to not let other people influence her in any way. “They don’t let the world shape them and for me, I’d love to just pick her brain about how she thinks on anything … anything in the world,” he said.
Huge thanks again to Karli from PopSugar Rush for sending us an email about this extended Calvin Klein commercial.
From MTV:
While Kellan Lutz plays a scary creature in the “Twilight Saga” – if you call a vegetarian vampire scary, that is — it’s his next role in the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” remake that has him really frightened. You see, it seems Lutz’s connection to the flick and its bad guy, Freddy Krueger, runs all the way to his childhood.
“That was one of the movies that actually scared me growing up,” Lutz told MTV News about the 1984 remake, due out on April 30. “My brothers were the biggest threat growing up with all the poundings, but Jason and Chucky weren’t too scary. I laughed at them. Clowns are funny to me.”
Thanks to Karli from PopSugarRush for sending us this video. They talked to Kellan at the Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Males party, he confesses he’s comfortable posing in his underwear because he used to run around nude.
From MTV:
What does Kellan Lutz think about the idea of releasing “Breaking Dawn” in 3-D, when (or if) it’s made? Well, he’s not too keen on the idea.
“I heard they were talking about it. I don’t really care to see it in 3-D,” he told MTV News on the red carpet at Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party on Monday night in New York City.
Like Pattinson, Lutz isn’t a big fan of movies filmed in multiple dimensions. “3-D kind of hurts my eyes anyways. ‘Avatar’ was amazing in 3-D and in Imax, but I don’t think I wanna see a little baby half-vampire in 3-D,” he said, echoing a similar sentiment made by Stewart. “There’s just some scenes I just wouldn’t want to see in 3-D.”
And with no formal announcement that more movies will be shot from the “Twilight Saga,” Lutz is in favor of breaking the book up into two flicks with “New Moon” helmer Chris Weitz back in the director’s chair, if the film should get the green light. “I’d love to see Chris Weitz come back,” he said late last year. “I just had so much fun shooting with him. I mean, obviously I would just love to do ['Breaking Dawn']. There’s no word. … Hopefully we get that phone call, and if they want to make it into five movies, I just don’t want it to end. I love my character so much.”
From MTV:
“Eclipse” will be hitting a theater near you on June 30 and one of the film’s stars, Kellan Lutz, insisted that the film will be the perfect date-night flick. Why? Well, according to him, the third installment of the “Twilight Saga” has plenty of action to keep the boyfriends of the world entertained.
“I did [see some of 'Eclipse'] … and it’s badass,” Lutz told MTV News on the red carpet at Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party. “The action really drew me in and I think the guys are really going to like this movie.”
Fans will get a taste of the action in the trailer, set to premiere on March 12 before Robert Pattinson’s “Remember Me,” and Lutz said he is excited for Twihards to see him get his action-hero on. “… I enjoy doing action movies. I enjoy being, you know, fighting and stuff like there, but there’s a lot of action [this time around]. A lot more than the love story.”

NEW YORK — The Mandarin Oriental hotel was bombarded on Monday night by some of finest looking men in the entertainment industry for Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party. While of the honorees placed themselves in the “fun” category, and others said they were “fearless,” there were a few who were brave enough to claim they are both.
Kellan Lutz may play a tough vampire in the “Twilight” series, but he thinks that being fun or fearless in real life is not mutually exclusive. “To me, they’re the same,” he said. “I think to be fearless and take risks, or to have fun, you have to be clearly fearless.”
The new Nightmare on Elm Street trailer is out, and Kellan is at the very beginning! We also added a few screen caps of the trailer to our gallery.
