Kellan Lutz had his grandfather over yesterday to prep for the big LA premiere of Eclipse. The actor bared his muscular arms as he headed outside to meet the elder Lutz, who also ran into Kellan‘s girlfriend AnnaLynne McCord. Kellan showed off his brand new Audi and even sweetly let his grandpa take it for a spin. AnnaLynne and the Lutzes then headed over to the main event, where Kellan thrilled the crowd by once again flashing his Calvins. Kellan sweetly thanked his family for accompanying him on his big Twilight night, but it looks like the group called it an early one and skipped out on the afterparty Rob, Kristen, and Taylor all attended.

USA Today posted a report about last nights ‘Eclipse’ Premiere. Here is the part they talk about Kellan.

Among the publishable posters made by fans of hunky vampire Emmett Cullen, played by Lutz, was one requesting him to “show us your Calvins.” Having spied the written request, Lutz smiled and yanked down on the black pants of his suit, revealing equally black Calvin Klein underwear (which matched the evening’s appropriately black carpet). “Hey, they asked me to,” he said, flashing a mischievous smile. The response was deafening. How does he keep the fans at bay? “It’s all about the chastity belt,” he said, adding, “Seriously, though, I love making a human connection to our fans. Some of them are literally crying, and it’s nice to be able to reach out a hand and touch them.”

”Without Summit we wouldn’t be here. At times it’s tough when you have Rob, Taylor, and Kristen as the face of the movie. Some things get overlooked. Summit has been working their butts off, but there have been disputes on some things.”

KELLAN Lutz got “cut up” by a machete while shooting his latest film.

The hunky Twilight star loves doing his own stunts — and admits his agent was horrified when the knife action got out of hand on The Killing Game.

“I loved doing stunts; I don’t have tattoos and I always say that my scars and bruises are my tattoos,” he said. “I just did this movie called The Killing Game and we had real machetes and my chest got cut up by accident. My agent was like, ‘That’s your money maker! You can’t ruin that!’

“I love action movies, I want to work with Sylvester Stallone one day. I was supposed to work on his movie The Expendables.

“I auditioned for it and I got the role, but the scheduling didn’t work out with New Moon. And I was just like, ‘What a bummer.’ It has seven of my favorite action stars. Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Randy Couture… it’s such an all-star cast. If the name ‘Kellan’ would have been up there with them, I would have died happy.”

How do you prepare for that intense fan reaction that seems to follow you wherever you go?

For me, I never really experienced it until Twilight. I think the biggest extreme from zero to 100, as far as realizing what I’ve gotten myself into, happened at the premiere of Twilight. I was just like, “There’s a line of people. Who are they waiting for? Wait, is that my face on a poster?!?” It was so surreal. After that, you kind of get an understanding of what it’s like to feel like a Beatle. To have fans screaming your name and crying and running after you; you kind of embrace it.

So it doesn’t freak you out?

I just go into it open-armed now. I’m such a people person. I love hanging out with the fans and doing the conventions and Q&As. I did a Calvin Klein meet-and-greet at The Bay yesterday and the fans were so great. To hear their stories and hang out; it’s really humbling to know that they enjoy and they appreciate your work.

Did you have any crazy fan encounters at The Bay?

There was a guy Max who is such a big teddy bear, kind of like Emmett. He was like “What about all the men who came for you, Kellan?” He was awesome! I actually ripped my jeans onstage because I was giving a little girl a hug…

abc Los Angeles reports about Fans camping out for the ‘Eclipse’ premiere and they also have a short interview with Kellan and Jackson Rathbone. You can see Kellan about about 2:10.

Actors Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz are part of a large group of actors returning for part three of the “Twilight” saga, “Eclipse.” The actors believe this film has something for everyone.

“It is very much an action movie and still with the romance,” said Rathbone. “With ‘Twilight,’ you were introduced the vampire world, with ‘New Moon’ you are introduced to the werewolf world, and in ‘Eclipse’ you’re torn between them both.”

The “Twilight” saga has a huge fan base, mostly women. But the actors say that there will be plenty of action in “Eclipse” for the male audience to enjoy.

“It’s definitely the book and the movie that I’ve been looking forward to shoot and see it for myself,” said Lutz. “The action is there and it’s a way darker movie. There is a lot of action which is right up my alley. That’s the magic of this franchise. It’s hitting everyone.”

“Eclipse” makes its world premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 24. It hits theaters on June 30.

Huge thanks to Mr. Will-W again for sending us an email about his blog. He got the change to meet Kellan again today. Here is what he had to say.

While many others get dolled-up for the MMVAs, Twilight star Kellan Lutz heads to the show cool and casual, leaving his Hotel just down the road from me. Sporting a Plaid Button-Down, an Undershirt and a pair of Jeans, Lutz whom I had just met yesterday, came out to greet fans. One woman who brought her toddler asked Lutz to take a photo with the child and he posed with the child drawing collective “awws” from everyone around.

After sticking around for a few minutes, he boarded his SUV and headed down to MuchMusic’s headquarters for the mass pandemonium. I’ve come to realize that a post about Kellan Lutz without pics is naked, so let’s dress this thing up! A beautiful man.

[x004] Kellan leaves Hotel to head to the MMVA’s – 20 June 2010

Hunky Twilight Saga star Kellan Lutz is utilizing his time in Toronto wisely before presenting at tomorrow’s MMVAs. The spokes-model for Calvin Klein’s X line dropped by at The Bay’s Queen Street location to meet and greet a much smaller than anticipated group of fans, mostly women and less than enough men to count on one hand. All the better for me. The currently brown-haired Lutz was very genuine and kind to all, making all sorts of goofy poses with fans.

I got an opportunity to chat with Lutz for about five minutes and we posed for photographs for the in-house Photographer, against the Calvin Klein Media Wall. The kind-spirited 25 year-old actor greeted me with hugs and we chatted about Fashion, coining me his “Fashion King”. He could not stop admiring a multi-colour plaid Scarf I wore, asking me where I got it because he wanted one identical to it. We then chatted about his new film The Immortals which he is currently filming in Montreal, telling me it looks amazing and that filming wraps in about three weeks’ time, after having been in that historic city for the past three months off and on. The Greek Mythological Action Fantasy, slated for a 2011 release stars Mickey Rourke, John Hurt and Freida Pinto. Lutz personalized a couple photos for me inscribing “I LOVE YOU WILL, Kellan Lutz” on the photo. He gave me another hug and then went off to the next admirer in the room, only after telling me he loved me again.

[...] The two-minute featurette opens with familiar scenes of vampire Riley going through the change and assembling a vampire army. Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen), shown in costume, explains why the army is a problem for the Cullens and the wolf pack. Cut to Xavier Samuel (Riley) talking about the dangers of being around newly turned vampires, spliced with scenes of the vampire army in destruction mode, on their way to find Bella.

The second half of the featurette focuses on how the vampires and werewolves undergo training to prepare for battle. There are new scenes here, showing Jasper teaching the vamps and werewolves how to fight, with brief clips of what look to be fun scenes of vampire-on-vampire combat training: the first a relatively intense battle between Jasper and Emmett and the second more playful fighting between Edward and Carlisle.

“There’s a lot of action, and that’s what us guys love,” Kellan Lutz (Emmett) says, followed by several scenes of the climactic battle between the Cullens and the wolf pack vs. the new vampire army.
