Back when the news broke that there would be more “Twilight” movies, the news was hard to miss for anyone plugged into the fan base.
But not everyone heard.
It seems word hasn’t reached at least on person of the “Twilight” cast. When I spoke with Kellan Lutz about the upcoming home video release of “Expendables 3,” this was his response to my question about his reaction to the news:
“This is the first I’m hearing of it. What’s going on with it?”
So while you might be pumped for the five short films from up-and-coming female director, featuring characters from the world of “Twilight,” this just goes to show how news like this travels for people who aren’t just fans.
After I explained the concept to Lutz, he seemed enthusiastic and shared some of his thoughts.
“Well, that’s very innovative. I have to hand it to Summit and Lionsgate. That’s a great way to reach the masses again,” he said. “It seems like it’s going to be really interactive as well, with Facebook fans being able to voice their opinions. I just think it’s a really cool idea. They better not give my character away.”
